Community Development

Fourth Plain Forward brand identity for Vancouver, WA's International District, reflecting the neighborhood's cultural growth.

An identity that reflects the blossoming International District of Vancouver, WA. We crafted a brand that harnesses the growth of local business and thriving cultural events along the Fourth Plain corridor.

Problem

The corridor is rich in culture and small business. Spearheaded by community members, Fourth Plain Forward was created to preserve what makes it special through protecting its cultural identity. They needed a brand identity system to reflect their intention to uplift and preserve.

Solution

We created audience personas to guide the creative direction and crafted an identity that's grounded, welcoming, and reflects communal warmth by echoing nature as an emotional anchor. Every piece of the brand leans into organic imperfections that are human at its core.
